My Favorite Vegan Plant Forwards (*easy*) Recipes
Hi friends!
As many of you already know, I’m vegan. I choose vegan-ism for better health, a cleaner planet, and for ethical reasons. Now, you may not be vegan but, we can all agree being plant forwards (putting plants first on your plate) is better for you and the environment. I hope these recipes inspire you to find plant based recipes you love and that you can incorporate into your regular routine. Many think that making delicious plant based food is hard but, the reality is it’s SO easy.
A few easy tips to always make your dish tasty…
Add salt (a small amount) at every layer of cooking
Use herbs (dried or fresh) and aromatics (add a LOT!)
Don’t skimp on fats (oils, nuts etc)
Focus on including a variety of textures - charred, roasted, boiled, crunchy, soft etc. in your dishes
Now onto my favorite go to vegan dishes for a healthy and easy vegan dinner (organized by category). I promise these are all relatively simple, tasty, and good for you!
Soups/Stews
Salads/Bowls
Casseroles/Pastas
Asian
Breakfasts
Dessert
And always always, feel free to edit and make any of these your own! Cooking is about being scrappy (using what you have), creative, and adjusting. I totally change these to my liking once I know the recipes by heart!
